More Glory

Sometimes life is stormy, dark and cloudy.

And sometimes life is sunny, bright and flower-filled.

And while I might prefer one to the other,
I know this much is true:

God uses both sunshine and rain
to produce the fullness of glory in your life.

I'm asking God to reveal more of His glory...
in life's sunshine and in life's storms.

Love and hugs,

  1. There is a little chorus we sing at our church...

"Behind every dark cloud shines the smiling face of Jesus.
In all of life's trials, look for Him, He'll be there"...

One day those clouds will all roll away. Life can be a burden. I'm older than you, and right now there are family members & friends going through serious issues. My brother just started treatments for cancer of the tongue. An aunt had a heart attack & is no longer able to care for our uncle who suffers from Ahlzheimer's & will no doubt have to be placed in a care facility. A church friend had to have a stent placed in his heart just yesteday. Another friends 18 month old grandchild is facing heart surgery. And I could go on and on. And all of our hearts are heavy for our fellow Americans hurting from the storms in Oklahoma! We don't understand. But we have to place our trust in the One in control, behind those dark clouds.

    Sunshine is coming!

  3. Dear Linsey,

Fantastic photos to match your lovely words! Whether stormy or sunny, your farm is always beautiful. And on the topic of beauty, I received my note cards safely and with much gratitude. Just returned home...and to the shop from lots of traveling. The note cards are even prettier in person. I love your design :) Merci beaucoup!!

Have a wonderful Memorial weekend ~

  4. Linsey,

Loved reading your blog. Nanny Kate here. Thanks so much for letting us into your little farm world the other day. I loved basking in the presence of what you have been cultivating with the Lord there. I experienced so much of the Spirit in a childlike way, outside in the barn and in the backyard; there is a lot of refreshing Joy and Freedom that you bring! Just wanted to send some encouragement your way, because God KNOWS we all need it!
    You are beautiful.

    PEACE in the Struggle.
