Fresh Off The Farm: More Snow!

We woke up to another fresh blanketing of snow on the farm.

An unexpected gift...
reminding me that His mercies are new every morning!

I'm not a big fan of cold weather,
but there's something about freshly fallen snow.

Peaceful, pure, magical, glorious.

Because beauty is meant to be shared...
here's our farm yesterday morning at sunrise:

Happy weekend, sweet friends.

  1. Looks like lots of love and happiness!

  2. Snow has never looked so good! Your photography is gorgeous. Texas is having a typical winter... one day in the 70's the next in the 30's. I go from turning the heat off to putting the AC on. Have a great week, Linsey!

  3. Hi Linsey,
I love reading your blog and reading about ya'lls big move was a sign to me to push harder for my dream to move to the Franklin/Nashville area. We're flying to Nashville tomorrow and I'd love a little advice. Great realtor? School? Really anything you can offer. I tried emailing you but maybe using an old email. I'm also from Houston, owned Petite Maison and have 4 sons and so ready to make a change. My email is kathyneblett@me.com and would so appreciate anything you're willing to share.

  4. Thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures of your farm, family and pups! I love a nice snow, too!

  5. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos~

  6. Love seeing the whole family enjoy the snow. Great photos...I especially like the ones where the light is changing as the sun comes up (as in some of the dog 'portraits'). Happy Monday!

  7. i bet you guys were so thrilled.....coming from Houston, that snow was a big deal!!!

  8. I think I am going to start living vicariously through you! Thanks for sharing those photos!

  9. i gotta tell you that you all look like you were made for that home.
    i am not kidding
you all have a look of peace all over you.....i am so happy for you

  10. Hi, Linsey -
The farm looks beautiful! So peaceful and calm. I hope your doggies enjoy playing in the snow. Our Mocha (the female) loves to romp in the snow, while Panda (the male) just stands there confused. They are Tibetan Terriers, and should be used to the cold and snow. Thanks for getting up early and braving the cold to snap those beautiful photos.
    Have a wonderful weekend ~

  11. We didn't get much snow here but what we got was beautiful. Faith built a tiny little snowman and had a blast doing it.

Your photos of your house, your barn, your dogs, JD, the girls...they are all wonderful.

    Stay warm, friend.

  12. Oh. my goodness. The snow is beautiful. your farm is beautiful. but those two dogs have just CAPTURED my heart! love seeing those babies!!!!!!!

  13. I enjoy your blog, your photography and your thoughtful open words that you write from your heart. Take your time and enjoy the process. God will give you the time for all He has for you to do as you put Him first followed by your beautiful family. Thanks for sharing the creative gifts God has given you.
