Beauty In Barrenness

Proof that there is beauty,
even in the bleakness and barrenness of winter:

Isn't it magical?!?!

May you have eyes to SEE the beauty in your day...
and faith to BELIEVE that beauty can be found...
even in your bleak and barren seasons!
P.S.
I'm sitting at my kitchen table and feel like
I've got a front row seat at the bird theater!
So many birds today! Wish you were here!

  1. I wish I was there too! When we lived in Illinois we would see so many cardinals in the winter and it was always such a treat! They are like a jewel amongst the branches.

  2. That's beautiful. I have 3 bird houses out my kitchen window - I could sit and watch for hours. Thanks for sharing. xo

  3. Such a beautiful image you captured! I use to dread January and cold winter months when I was younger, but I've come to enjoy them more and more for the very reason and image you posted. May you continue to find beautiful treasures this season of winter and always.

  4. I wish I was at your table too! I'm a big bird watcher, and would list all the ones I see on my wonderful LLH notepad! We have a new resident osprey here in the Heights. Very exciting for this vegetarian who loves predatory birds :)
