So sweet! My oldest daughter got to watch baby chicks hatch last year in first grade and we were all smitten. They are so fun to watch. I know you will enjoy them. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend too :-)!
Oh, you will love the chicks! Aren't they so sweet? Nothing beats having your own eggs produced on the premises, trust me. Hope you've had a nice weekend.
Ya'll are going to have so much fun with the chicks. We have 4 hens and LOVE them. They are all spoiled rotten. My stress releases from my body just watching them. The eggs are delish! Enjoy~~~ April B.
My mind immediately goes back to your wine crate garden in Houston. Any plans for a clever chicken coop? (no pressure! ha!) You've peeked my curiosity... ;) I think it would be so fun to have your own chicks. I'll have to live vicariously through your experience. Blessings, Nicole
My husband took charge of the coop, and I let him. I joke that it would take us another year (or two...or three) if it were up to me to decide on a coop. I'd want to design my own, and he knows where that would lead us! No chickens anytime soon!

Oh what fun!! I can just imagine the girls peeking in to check on them. We've thought about chickens but haven't yet. Look forward to watching yours.
ReplyDeleteIf you've thought about it and are able to have them where you live, I say go for it!
DeleteHow exciting- I bet your girls are in heaven!!!
