For My Dear Friend {And Her Five Girls}

I know five pretty girls and a precious mama who need this today:

{I thought that would make you smile!}

In honor of your sweet mother and grandmother,
a beautiful woman whose life was full of real fruit,
I found this print for you today:

{I see this fruit in you, too.}

And if there's one thing I wanted you to know
as I sat by your side yesterday, it was this:

{lovely doodles by Pamela Garrison}

It was a privilege to leave my own sufferings and sit
beside you in yours. May God be enough for you today.

All my love,

  1. Friendship is a beautiful thing and sometimes going into other's struggles brings just the perspective we need. I have this scripture written down on a post it this week...
    "But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me."
    2 Cor 12:9
    God's power resting on us...that is so awesome.

    1. It's hard to pick a favorite verse, but that one is up there for me. His power is absolutely made perfect in our weakness. It's the best way for Him to show off what He can do through us! xo!

  2. What a beautiful tribute to such a special family! It was a treat to meet you yesterday. You are just as lovely in person as you are on your blog!

    1. It was so sweet of you to introduce yourself, Karen. Your words were so encouraging, and I received them as a gift. On the days when I wonder why in the world I bother to pour myself out on this little ol' blog, it helps to remember that there are REAL people on the other side of this screen. Happy to have met you.
